Aside from great tasting food, one of the things I look for in a restaurant is the ambiance. When I first glanced at Chaikofi The Concept Cafe at The Block of SM North EDSA I need not think twice, I want to try the food they served here.

This is the Crab & Mango salad sold at P149 or $3.10 . If you are on a diet and want light stuff for dinner this is something to try. It’s made of crab meat shredded, diced ripe mango, lettuce and mayonnaise. The combination of the mango, crab, lettuce and mayo is so scrumptious!

To pair the salad this Tomato Soup sold at P65 or at $1.38 is also good. It has a very strong tomato flavor with pepper although it’s somehow like a tomato sauce or tomato paste diluted in water some cream and simmered.

The delectable Chai Dobo for P139 or $2.95 is a recipe not to miss here at Chaikofi. It’s another twist to the very famed and loved Adobo recipe. The meat is so tender and despite having a lot of pepper this one is so delightful to eat.

One of the reasons I went in this cafe is the Bavette alla Pomodoro which is sold at P169 or $3.59. I love pasta so much. This is not like any ordinary pasta recipe. The meatballs is not too taste, actually almost bordering to bland but it compliments the very taste pomodoro sauce sprinkled with mozarella cheese. The panini bread on the side made this pasta recipe a perfect meal.

We had the Chaikofi’s Best Seller sandwich Chunky Chicken for P125 or $ 2.65 for take out and I also give this one a thumbs-up! Aside from the chicken chunk, mayonaise and lettuce, there is also cucumber, and tomato on the sandwich. The breat was toasted and some chips on the side.

A Strawberry black tea and a Lemon Mint Green tea for P85 ($1.80) and P75 ($1.59) respectively

Chaikofi has six stores around Metro Manila, this one at SM North EDSA The Block, SM Mall of Asia, Robinsons Galleria, Robinsons Place Manila, Robinsons Place Pioneer, and NAIA .

Have a look around the store:
