I was again invited at another dinner treat by Old Vine and Kuse’s owner in one of his restaurants. The Uncle Cheffy Brick-Oven Panizza located at Eastwood City Mall, Eastwood City Libis, Quezon City.
Honestly I didn’t know what to expect all I know was I was hungry when we arrived from that thrilling Bungee Fun adventure.
I am not surprised that Brick Oven Panizza is Uncle Cheffy’s specialty, it was my favorite of the night that I had to ask for more. It’s their own version of Panizza baked on charcoal brick oven with their own creation of toppings blend in assorted cheese, herbs and spices. It is served with salad green and salsa.
Panizza:
They have six different flavors but we only sampled 3. I love all of them and it’s fun eating them with friends. You put the vegis and salsa on the pre-cut panizza slice and wrap. Just like a Dear Darla Pizza at Yellow Cab!
They are all equally scrumptious. I love the fact that it’s brick-oven baked. The crust is just right. God thinking about it makes me crave for one!
The Seafood Lovers is made of salmon, shrimp, clams, squid, herbs, onion and 3 cheese for Php425
Their All Meat Barbecued is made of beef, pork, chicken barbecue, onion and chili flakes and 3 cheese for Php450
Uncle Cheffy Favorites is made of mushroom garlic, anchovy, chili flakes, basil and 3 cheese for Php395
They also have the East Meets West, Larry’s Craving and the Cheese, Cheese & Cheese prize ranging from Php475-Php495
Salads:
Grilled Prawns and Pomelo Salad tossed in roasted sesame vinaigrette for Php295 and Php495 depending on serving size. I love how the pomelo contrast with the rest it gives the salad a different twist.
Uncle Cheffy Salad is made of crispy pork belly, asparagus, potato and mesclun in dijonaise dressing for Php230 and Php495 depending on size. Very tasty salad I think it can be a main course too!
Main Dishes:
Thai Style Fried Pla-Pla that looks like a giant Tilapia is Php295 per 800 grams
Spaghetti Alejandro is a spanish inspired pasta with tomato sauce, smoked chorizo, pimentos and edam cheese for Php350
You should try their Memphis Barbecue U.S. Beef Rib Finger it is served with salad, marble potato and sauce at Php595 per 1,000 grams. It’s so flavorfull I had to add the alfalfa leaves to temper the taste!
Garlic Studded Pork Belly Lechon is served with radish relish, tomato salsa and liver sauce at Php95 per 100 grams. It’s super crunchy and garlicy. Yumz!
Desserts
The Chocolate Parfait on pandan creme at Php95 is my favorite among the bunch of desserts served to us. I love the texture. Its soft, cruncy and frozen at the same time. Not too sweet, just right.

The price is reasonable because the serviving size is filling. Service is good but I think because their resto was full that night, to think they are at the end corner of the line of restos, so they were kinda delayed with the delivery of drinks.

I love the look of the resto especially the interiors. Nice paintings were scattered and some brick wall enhancement were place. Their bathroom looks nice especially the mosaic stained glasses on the wall. They have a lovely and clean looking bar too filled with wines and spirits.
