A hot cup of coffee, eggs and toast used to be just breakfast staple. However most people, especially the working class/yuppies don’t have the luxury of time to prepare a hearty breakfast. They all rush to beat the traffic to get in time for work more often than not skip breakfast.
Good thing there are now restaurants offering our all-time breakfast favorites, hot coffee, eggs, and toast. Kopi Roti is one of those restaurants we can enjoy breakfast all they but their edge is that their coffee is blended the Asian way just the way we like it.

The Korean fever invaded all aspects of life here in the Philippines. After invading our televisions, music and fashion, they are taking our gastronomic adventures via storm. I’m sure you’ve heard of Kimchi and Jiampong but it doesn’t stop there.
Kogi Bulgogi opened at Eastwood City Mall in Quezon City last April 2010 and their business is doing well as there are floods of customer trooping the one and only restaurant serving authentic all Korean Food Menu in the metro (as of last visit), Kogi Bulgogi.
Upon taking your order they will give you a complimentary appetizers a sampler size of their appetizers 6-7 kind of Korean appetizers to start your appetite. Warning: spicy is a trademark of the most popular Korean Food so if you don’t like spicy food find somewhere else to eat or ask the waiter about what in their menu is not spicy. Make sure you have something sweet and some water beside you before you eat.

Social Lounge is located at the ground floor of Makati Atrium in Paseo de Roxas, Makati City. Personally I think it was odd to have a nice cocktail bar and events venue located at a government building / office, I’m sure you all know this is where the Pag-Ibig main office is located. You wouldn’t even notice how nice Social Lounge is from outside because it is masked by the dull facade of the Atrium building.

Since I posted about the Ice Breaker Scramble I’ve been getting a lot of comments and messages about franchising this business, sadly they are not yet open to franchising and are still enjoying the benefits of running the family business. Branching into franchising is a very serious business and they want to maintain the quality of their product among others.
Anyway, since there is a great demand for franchising I came across this food cart franchising business opportunity that everyone might be interested. The capital is very low and the chance and the income opportunity is limitless. Food is the easiest way to market as long as you are in a good location and you serve good food you can never go wrong

Powdered milk candies or in the local lingo polvoron can never be found anywhere in the world but here in the Philippines. Its one of the sweet delicacies you can take home for family and friends (pasalubong) who have been away from the country for a very long time and make them feel back at home again and bring memories of the old times.

I learned this recipe from Chef Rob , he used to have a show on QTV 11 Chef on the Go and I can say he is really good. I met him in person during one of the events I attended and he was demonstrating healthy/ smart eating.
He gave tips on how removing a single ingredient in our regular meal can turn it healthy. He even showed to us how to make five different meals using the ingredients that are readily available in every households kitchen.

I’m such a fan of tropical fruit shakes. When I had a recent visit at a KFC store I saw their new product, the KFC Krushers I did not hesitate but try it out and wow it was worth it. I wanted to try the Strawberry Lush but they ran out of strawberries that day and so I had the Mango Mania and I was not disappointed.
